Born in Cameroon and raised in Surrey, UK, my multicultural background has always been one of my greatest strengths. Growing up in a tech-driven household, my dad—a computer hardware engineer and tech genius—made sure we were tech-savvy from an early age. He bought us our first PlayStation, taught us how to repair computers, clear viruses, and understand both the opportunities and risks of technology.

A funny story comes to mind: My dad would lock the family computer with security codes, and I’d find ways to override them—not just to prove I could, but because I was fascinated by how things worked. That curiosity never left me.

As the digital world evolved, so did my passion for understanding it. When YouTube was on the rise, I began creating videos with friends after school using webcams, filmed my own makeup tutorials, produced a podcast, and ran a blog. I didn’t realise it at the time, but I was stepping into a global space where digital content shapes culture.

These experiences sparked my interest in digital marketing strategy, digital project management, and creative campaign development. I wasn’t just interested in content creation—I wanted to understand how brands, businesses, and organisations position themselves online, engage audiences, and create meaningful impact.

One of my key principles:

For me, learning isn’t just about acquiring knowledge—it’s about developing practical understanding. Over the past decade, I’ve honed my skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. Instead of chasing job titles, I’ve focused on real-world learning, from internships and freelance consulting to certifications and project management roles across multiple industries. I’ve taken courses when I could’ve gone on holidays, and I’ve worked on projects not just for a paycheque, but to gain exposure, insight, and expertise.

This approach has broadened my thinking and deepened my understanding of diverse marketplaces, cultures, and industries. It’s this foundation that I bring to every project I undertake.
